What's up, people?

Hello FAKKU! My name is Watashi. Redundant, I know. Just call me Wats! I've been around these parts for a while now, but never made an account up 'til now. I thought I would test the waters and get to know this wonderful community.

I'm a 19 year-old male who is a life-long gamer and a fairly new anime fan. I am a first-year college student and don't know where the fuck I'm going in life lol

If any of you guys and gals would like to ask any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. I don't want to text dump my entire life story on here. I'm looking forward to meeting new friends here!

Yo, just try too finish general classes, do good/well in most of them, maybe take a cheap continuing education class or try doing something with one of you're hobbies, I myself am uncertain about what I want too do for a loving career wise but it'll come someday. Welcome and what are your hobbies.

Thanks for the advice! I intend to do just that. I'm doing my generals with an emphasis in psychology, but I'd like to get into creative writing, as well.

My biggest hobby is gaming, as I said. My taste in games is too diverse to list everything I like, but I enjoy gripping, "experience" games like Shadow of the Colossus and Journey the most. But I love my mindless Resident Evils and Marios too.

Aside from gaming, I suppose my biggest interests are film and anime. I like FMA, Death Note, Steins;Gate, Baccano!, and I'm currently giving Sword Art Online a try.

I like too help people and you seem like a cool guy, how are you're classes going so far and how's life? I was thinking maybe video game design or something along those lines might work, I hear game testing is like playing the same film over and over, watching for differences but I could be wrong. I know all those shows XD Maybe something drama related would fit in with film and creative writing hell maybe you could go for becoming a producer. It's all up too you.

In the short term, I'd like to maybe try my hand at game or film criticism, just as a hobby. In the distant future though, I'd like to write stories. What kind of stories? I don't know. I just want something I can pass on.

Life has been strange, not gonna lie. My classes are easy enough, but it's the social aspect of college that I'm struggling with. I've made a friend or two, but it's hard to find someone you can really connect to.

I'm unsure how that works unless its via you becoming a reviewer, or critic? I'd say focus on the more do able and something you'd like doing each day.. I know the feeling of those words.. I'm envious of you having 1 or 2 friends but I'm stuck with a class of 6 old snobby, boring women who most of them are moms who pretty much ignore me since i'm the only guy there and keep too there own little group. Ah sorry about that.. Honestly you're even younger then me dude and have years too be able too do both if you want too do so.

Yeah, doing online reviews. Written ones, most likely. It's just something I've always wanted to try, even if nobody reads them. Sorry about the class thing. Thanks for the warm welcome and I hope you find what you're looking for! ^^

Hah! I can't die just yet =) And it's really hard to give a favorite anything, because I'm constantly experiencing new and interesting things, but I'll always have a special place in my heart for Shadow of the Colossus. I play a lot of Metal Gear, Resident Evil, Zelda, and Fire Emblem though, and lately I've been finding all sorts of indie titles, too. Thanks for asking ^^

What Fire Emblems have you played so far? I've played all the series except FE13 (Awakening), XD. Lately I'm also playing indies here and there, last one (a free one): Iji, it's kinda short (about 10 hours) but I liked it a lot at the end.

Truth be told, I've only played Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. xD I'd love to play more games in the series, but I've never owned a handheld. I played the crap out of Radiant Dawn though. I must have done around 25 separate playthroughs. I did like the story of PoR a bit more, but the gameplay is undeniably superior.

And 10 hours is a pretty good length for an indie game, all things considered. I can't say I've heard of Iji before though. I'd love to try it, but my laptop isn't the best for PC gaming =(

Iji's requisites are really minimal as it's a kinda simple 2D game: page here.

Path of Radiance... ❤, it's one of my favorite games ever, XD. Radiant Dawn is cool, too, specially for the improvements on gameplay, but still I can't prefer it over Path of Radiance. In any case those both are the best of the series, though the GBA games are also really good and the second DS game unreleased (remake) outside Japan.

I'm glad someone agrees. I'm sure I'll get a 3DS in the future. I desperately want to play Monster Hunter 4, as well. You should definitely get Awakening though. It might be your new favorite in the series, based on the praise it gets. And thanks for the link ^^ I'll give it a try later, per your recommendation.

I'm probably going too hated for this but, XD I have the special fire emblem 3ds and I uninstalled awakening. lol Though I'm rather a casual when it comes too FE

There's nothing wrong with having a different opinion. Although I have to ask, what were your thoughts on it? What did you not like about it?

Well It's a awesome dating sim and tactical rpg, I have'nt played it in like 2 years though so I barely remember.. I dislike paying for the dlc even though its still pretty good.
