Please be aware that the figure industry operates in batches. The Japan region gets a batch first, which is why Japanese merchants like AmiAmi get their stock faster. US merchants get a different production batch that's purely for 'overseas'. This batch is sent to a US distributor that the figure companies partner with, which the US merchants order from.
