Fakku Suite 1.7.3 [Updated as of 3/20/15]

So this is Fakku Suite it used to be known as "Fakku tooltips". It has grown so much more and is now a suite of apps that all can be turned off / on throught the new options page. This Suite includes my previous two plugins as well as a new one I was working on called "fakku random". Here are some pictures ~

Pretty kool. I use a tool like this on Facebook to preview larger images.

I know this is only version 1, but I'm a sucker for options. I like being able to customize what I see and how I see it. It's an awesome tool and I can't wait to see where you go with it!

This is pretty neat, I don't use chrome but I would definitely install this if I did.

Well I'm already working on a somewhat more customizable version that will include all my little plugins in one chrome extension and just have an options page allowing you to turn on what you want.

Is there anything you would like to have for an option so I can add it to my list of things todo ?

Correctamundo I do use Firefox, more specifically Firefox 24 ESR on Gentoo Linux amd64

Since you ask...
- on/off for different info fields
- size of preview images could be adjustable (if possible)
- adjustable fade time or fade delay times
- maybe a font choice

Don't quote me on this seeing as its past 2am so my judgement is a little off but..

- on/off for different info fields : I don't see why not should be easy
- size of preview images could be adjustable (if possible) : can do most likely will just have to store a value for size
- adjustable fade time or fade delay times : I think I remember reading in the docs for fade time/delay
- maybe a font choice : I'm not sure about this one.. Maybe use a dynamic or static set of CSS classss(or one for dynamic)

Over all look like they should be pretty easy to do but most the time they turn on you x3

Here is pictures from the option page I put together there isn't any code to back it up just to make everything work(aka the tool tips and the slide numbers). I'll start working on getting the options working at hopefully this week.

So I've added random things that I though would be useful as I was browsing the site.. Is there anything anyone else would like that I could see about adding ? Any feedback on what already exists ?

Looks good! I like the larger preview thumbnails, and taking away a few of the info fields makes it look a little cleaner. The download links and random button are both features I'll be using a lot as well. Great work!

As far as what's next, I like the black list idea. Can you elaborate a little on what exactly this will do/how extensive it will be? The options page could use a little polish, but it looks like you're working on that as well. Can't wait for 1.6!

I don't have a ton of ideas for more features to add, but I'm sure I'll come up with something. One idea I had recently (which seems a bit more extensive and like it'd be a lot of work), was some kind of search function for multiple tags. For example, if I want a random color manga under the mizugi and ahegao tags. Or if I'm searching for something specific and I have no idea what it's called, I can try to search within a group of tags...

This sounds difficult at first, but the more I think about it, the simpler it is. Just use your blacklist feature. If I want to see mizugi + aheago + color, just blacklist everything else temporarily, and sort all by newest or alphabetically or whatever.

I know that's a lot... Do you think it's doable?

I moved my ramble to the end of the post here are answers to your questions.

• Ok well the blacklist is sort of simple in concept but was a little harder to add in seeing as In the process I had to re write tooltips well I didn't have to.. but I thought it needed to be done as I wrote it pretty poorly. so the the blacklist is pretty extensive as anything on the list if a doujin/manga has it the random gen will re draw a new one till it finds one that doesn't have any black terms(tags).

• Funny story about that..(I think this was back before I had an account.. hmmm I can't remember) well I made my own script and I had a database of every fakku doujin/manga ever uploaded to fakku and it included the tags and what not this was before the api came out and I was looking around it turned out that they not only have "tag1 tag2 tag3" which allows you to search for just doujin/manga with those tags but also to remove tags. Like for example "tag1 tag2 -tag3" would remove any doujin that has tag3 but only include something if it has tag1 and tag2. So it's been a feature since 2011ish(I think I remember hearing Jacob talk about it in some panel recording) if I remember which is also when I put my database to rest.
  < TLDR >
  It already exists "tag1 tag2 tag3" or remove a tag "tag1 tag2 -tag3"
  

• I just noticed that asking about tag searching I think you meant random buttons for tag searching.. I may be wrong as it is 5am soo... If that is what you are wondering about I already finished it

Ramble

First off I'd like to make a little joke and say that I'll be releasing 16.5 soon because everything needs some 16.5 :p(well hopefully I can still be around for that big of a number >w<;;

Also I never did think I would be able to pull all this together in a language I don't even know X3.. I'm not kidding I don't know javascript now seeing as it is a easy language to begin with helped. But Yep over all I started not knowing a clue and I like to think I know a little more then what I started with X3

It's done and uploaded I'm not sure when google will push out the updates though.

You should fix the cover dimensions in the tooltip, they look a little off.

I updated manually, and I'm very pleased with everything :3
