Does anyone know a set release date by any chance ? Pre ordered the book at my local manga store so I’m wondering….
Also says on Amazon.com that it was released today, which I don’t really understand ? Was it actually released today ???

I actually preordered thru amazon (US) and I got an email this morning that it has shipped

So, on Amazon the Hard Edition was released, and some here have ordered it. I want to order it, just to see if it arrives quickly, but I'm still waiting on an official announcement by Fakku so we can also reap in the digital version. It has been a week since they said the announcement was pushed back to today, so let's see.

I'm so so excited that this is finally going out to you guys. This has been the longest project I've worked on and we're so proud of it. The book was an idea that just kept growing and growing with ideas and the amount of effort Shindo L contributed to the final result really put the cherry on top with this.
Even if you only know this book for just the meme, there's so much interesting information about problems Shindo L ran into when creating the title with Japanese laws and he has a ton of really interesting thoughts throughout the annotated portion. I hope you guys genuinely enjoy the title, because I sure did.

Just got my copy from amazon's preorder so people should start seeing them come in.
Wish it had come in a box that wasn't twice its size and/or had any level of bubble wrap to prevent it from scratching off the thin film that surrounded the book and consequently scratching the cover and edges, but that's really more amazons fault than a seller. I had been following its release for a couple of months now, Book looks beautiful in person you guys cooked on this one

German Amazon just sent me an update stating that the product is delayed and they are unable to give me an estimated dispatch date.

Australian here, just got mine from Amazon US in case anyone was wondering if it would make it through customs

So I looked at a ton of stores with pre-orders available and pretty much all of them said that the publishing date is December 26th. However, now it's December 26th and the book shows as out of stock pretty much everywhere except Amazon US.
Is there a delay in distributing or is it actually sold out?
EDIT: for anyone interested like me, it seems that the publication date was pushed back to January 6th 2025 (for non-US regions). Probably is a distribution delay

I got mine from Blackwells UK, I pre ordered back in september and arrived today!

Amazon Germany also cancelled on me today.
Use Blackwell's. It's more or less the same price and has free shipping.
Order tracking is bit of a hassle though, since you need to contact the delivery company (MHI) to provide the new tracking ID once the package reaches the EU borders.
