A quick question.

I was wondering if there are any bad things about leaving your computer in the japanese regional...thing.

It might get stuck in japanese mode and you'd have to learn japanese to use it.

When I leave the regional settings to japanese I can't open my messenger. But I think that's all it does.

I used to use a program called NTLEA. It emulates regional settings for a game so you don't have to restart your comp to enable them. But lately I haven't had to. I think thats because I have East Asian language packs installed and because I also installed a Japanese font from somewhere.

You better not, in my experienced it would gave you trouble later..

I never had any problems when I left the Japanese regional language on except for the occasional time I had an important menu show up that was still in Japanese, but I could always manage to figure out what I was doing even with it on.

But yeah, nothing harmful is going to happen if you leave one language pack on for an extended period of time.

The only thing it does to mine is cause the dumb quicktime update window to pop up in Japanese. Everything else stays in English except the time setting which runs on a full 24 hour time.

Yeah...I haven't had a single thing pop up in Japanese or any problems running anything. Hmm...well I might as well just leave it then.
