Adblock doesnt work help?

I asked in the adblock forum and got zero response so ...
i'm using a samsung tab and chrome browser and adblocker worked really fine until we got a new wifi and if i change the proxy settings i dont get any internet, if i dont change the settings adblicker doesnt block anything.
Any advice?
I'm not the wifi owner thought so i cant do much on the router itself...
It would be really helpful because i rather browse fakku on android than pc, but the ads annoy the hell out of me.

From googling there does same to be some issue with adblock on android 4+.
you may simple need to re-install adblock
there is from their site
"Why am I asked to make changes to my network settings, even if Adblock Plus used to work fine?
Adblock Plus tries to automatically change the proxy settings for you. Android 4.1.2, 4.2.1 and later versions contain a security fix making our approach impossible. So there is no way around configuring it manually now. We are trying to make this process as simple as possible. There's a blog post with more information."
If re-installing doesn't work and know else reply with a better solution/advice, you can install Maxthon Browser which has adblock built in so you don't need to install it separately

I tried reinstalling but i didnt find that tip for the browser, will try it out thanks so much
