Animals are better then us in many ways. They might be stronger or faster or bigger but we are smarter. But man has fire and guns :) Oh and those big bombs with the plutonium cores.

And humans can grow distinguished facial hair. I've seen animals with beards and mustaches before, quite funny I might add, but they pale in comparison to the glory of human facial hair. Not only that, but human beards carry with them the amazing power of time travel.
