I nearly came watching that video... That looks seriously badass. So what's the deal with Japanese games? If we import them, will they work on an American PS2, or are they not compatible?

unfortunately that game can only be played on PS3 Japanese version. if you want this game,then prepare a ticket to japan. because this game selled ONLY in japan.
man.. look at that Turn X Gundam (yeah it's a Gundam. appears in Turn A Gundam story as the main Villain).. really.. and that Freedom Gundam too.. what a BAD-ASS..
Macross also appears too! this is a crossover game. you can fight using Freedom while teamed with Shin Getter Robo
