[size=10]Well, to some extent, I can relate to you. Samurai Champloo, my favorite anime of all time. Spoiler Alert. More than one:
Fortunately for Fuu, who is one of the three main characters in Samurai Champloo, she finds her father in the end. Throughout the story, she's searching for him. Unfortunately, shortly after finding her father (which was the main point of the Journey) the story pretty much comes to an end. I suppose there is no reason to continue once the main story is told but that anime had something to it, something that made me wish it didn't end. The side stories, other conflicts found throughout the story, side-tracking and all was pretty amazing.
Too bad though, most people focus on the main issue of a story/manga/anime and then it comes to an end once addressed. With certain anime like Naruto, I don't really like for them to lead away from the main characters, but with certain anime like Samurai Champloo, I can definitely relate to how you feel. Sometimes, it could be nice to look at other things or avoid ending the story.[/h]
Yeah, this was my thinking, really. I also agree with Shaggy Jebus, I don't care much for the other countries either.
(Rant alert! If you don't want to read about my ideas, past the line, I get to the point, lol)
Actually, I was thinking of how there's this story I'm writing, but it's in a world that has all these awesome different locations to explore, because it's in a post apocolyptic setting, with demons running rampant in the world, and humans discovering ways to battle them.
The main story is of course about the main three characters, who try and close all the gates to hell. BUT! I ended up wanting to also write chronicles of a bunch of demon slayers who go through the history after the initial apocolyptic event.

Anyways, my point being I wouldn't want to go through the trouble of making up this story, this world full of stories, and it end with just one story being told. Anyway, I like the idea of exploring ceartain worlds, instead of letting it die with a single story in that world.
