Back to the old banner?

Iam a little bit confused right now
Does that mean that all the effort that everyone put into this contest was in the end ... for nothing? :?

If you weren't the winner, yes...it was all wasted effort.

Well the contest was looking for one winner, which was tkhnoman. The winner won a prize and everyone else hopefully had fun competing.

I thought I mentioned somewhere that the chosen banner would most likely remain up for a week or so and then we would revert back to the old one.

The only reason we reverted back to the old one is because (as you have hopefully noticed) I frequently add little things to the banner every now and then for fun. I have the blank template of the banner and when I find an image that amuses me I slap it on there. I actually have a lot of fun making them so chances are it will continue.

However you made me think, why not throw up some of the other user created banners every now and then? So I think I'll start doing that in a few days.
