Bagtas Windows: How To Disable Autorun (used by viruses)

Did you know that viruses activate once you clicked the open folder option in the autorun window?
and also some viruses activate once you put them in your computer!!!

worry no more! i have the solution for your problems! and also make a permanent block on activating any virus!

here it goes.... read... carefully.....*eerie music fades in*


open the run program
(start -> run) or (winKey+r)


1) type in "gpedit.msc" (without the "")
2) *poof! a window opens!*
3) on the left panel just double click "Administrative Templates".
4) under it just click "system".
5) now look on the right panel.
6) go find "Turn off Autoplay" and open it (double click).
7) now, on the setting tab, you'll see 3 options...
namely NOT CONFIGURED, ENABLED, DISABLED
8) just click enabled.
9) under it, just choose "All drives"
10) enjoy!

NOTE!!!!!

on opening a removable device, do not use right-click explore, right-click open, or double click
just do this:

for example, you want to open drive f.
just type in the address bar "f:" (without "")
a simple letter f and then colon.

okay? your done!
