So, my next door neighbor had a heart attack.
Blah, blah, we sent her to the home.

A couple days ago, her landlord came by, with this kitten that has apparently been hanging around her porch fort the last couple days.
For three days, we told her, "No, we do not want another cat," but yesterday, she conned my (brain damaged) mother into taking it.
So, I find a home for this cat (there's a girl, another long story), but the person who wants it is on vacation.
This isn't a problem, but the day she's willing to take it, I'm in a class for two hours (too early to deliver).
How do you keep a kitten in your car, without it dying from the heat, or pissing all over?

If you're going to keep it in a car for any length of time I suggest wrapping it in a towel.

if you do plan on keeping it in the car, make sure to park under a cool shade (beneath a tree, etc), put down some paper, and also have a bowl of water for the kitten.

oxygen issue? open a small gap on the window..

I'm pretty sure it's not the lack of oxygen, but the high temperatures.

If it dies, you could face animal cruelty charges, so just find another day to deliver it.

I was thinking that (minus the charges bit), I'll try to get ahold of her, but let's argue this out....

I have one of those foil reflectors too, I know it will help, but is there another way to keep the car cool? will that be cool enough?
Also: I asked another guy, and he said wrap it in a towel too.... how do you wrap a kitten that is already walking and whatnot? *keep it wrapped*

If a dog dies its animal cruelty, if a cat dies no one's the wiser. Think about it.

Buy one of those big ass bags of ice from the convenience store and set it on the floorboard with one end open. If the cat has any shred of intelligence it will either lay on the bag or eat some ice. You can keep the windows cracked too. Afterwards buy some beer and reuse the ice with it in a cooler.

If the kitten is cute, you could possibly bring it to class and score some points with the girls. :D

Jokes aside, I have absolutely no idea how to deal with the situation, since I neither own a kitten nor a car. Couldn't you leave the kitten at home, fetch it after class and then deliver it to the other party?

Strongly advise against keeping it in the car during daytimes in summer at any rate.
First there's the heat issue, secondly it will urinate all over everything.

Aya-sempai has a point. also you can make a small fan made out of those small motor of toy cars, just improvise in making the mini fan, made one myself for the heat-sink of my PC, pretty cool by the way, anyway jack it to a long lasting battery like Energizer. Hope it helps.

I found a friend who can house it while I'm in class.
Although, I'm sure they will attempt everything in their power to defeat the purpose of this entire exercise.
