Lawrence x Holo. SAO is a piece of shit. Yes, I have watched most of it (stopped at episode 21). It's full of ass-pulls, characters that lack depth, and plot twists so obvious I wanted to punch my screen.

It's not how many people who watch it. It's how many people who read it. The novels are far better than the anime. The anime suffers from organization issues and emphasis on selling figurines of minor characters.
No the anime suffers from having a shitty second half. Besides that kind of argument "the manga's better than the anime" has been around forever.
Original source material is almost always better than adaptation. Except for Twilight. The original was so shitty it can't get any worse.
At least the anime viewers did not have to watch the Underworld portion of arc two that spanned half a novel.

I stuck through the train wreck that was everything past episode 4 out of some odd sense of loyalty.
I'm sorry but the "romance" in that show was more forced than a gang rape doujin, and felt like it was written by some dude who's only ever read about romance, never actually experienced it.
Kinda funny cause the person who wrote SAO is a chick. On the topic I went with Akira Tsubaki x Mikoto Urabe cause their relationship is soo kinky makes me wish my girlfriend and I had this sorta relationship but 1st I must get a girlfriend
