Does the castoff-able element affect your purchase decision greatly?

It had to be asked. I may not be as "hardcore" as other members, such as Mycstea, when it comes to figurine collection, since I own only around 10 of them, though there will be more purchases to come.
When it comes to figurine collection, do you prefer your figurines to be castoff-able, meaning that their clothes or accessories can be removed (not necessarily with ease all the time), revealing lingerie and other naughty bits or would you prefer them to be in "one piece"?

Heck yea. But the point about being cast off is whether it will affect the integrity of the figurine, does it undermine any of its beauty elements and details. Would it cause balance issues, look ugly (lol) or too exaggerated and whether its logical to have an alternate look. =)

As long as it looks good I don't mind if its cast-off able or not and I don't think it would affect my buying decisions since I usually have decided the item I wanted to buy before going to the shop and make a purchase.

Really, its just a high-end gimmick. Granted it adds a layer (more like takes one away) to the depth of a figure as well as some interactivity, unless you go out of your way to only purchase castoffable figures, it shouldn't make or break your decision.

I love the Shuraki sets of PVCs. They're just plain fucking greatly extremely fucking fucking fucking good at the engineering of the cast-off lol

The 3rd one (Meifeng) was quite difficult to cast off/on, though. The rest are just as you described.

Overall the build of the shuraki sets are top notch, and personally my favorite is Char Rhouseman... I dunno why but her face with a fencing sword and that pose is awesome.

this is i very debateable subject i don't actualy have any models /figure but i don't think it would matter too much as long as i liked the model

It really depends but most cast-off figures badly use this feature. I got that Yakitate Japan's Tsukino and TooHeart's Marianne and both's skirts can be removed... and it's REALLY uninteresting. I did it once and never did it again... I think it's only interesting on erotic figures.
