some might say fruits and some vegetable. The grows from plants and has seeds is a strong argument. I would call it vegetable cuz its not sweet :P fruits must be sweet to be called fruits :D
Honestly the only people who can call such things vegetables are ignorant blokes who suppose anything that doesn't taste sweet and delicious can't possibly be a fruit!
Hey, news flash, they're not classified by taste and texture!
But did'ja know? Peppers and chilies actually have a very nice and sweet taste if you remove the heat! Try eating them with some acid (lime juice!), that will neutralize most (not all) of them.

it was actually a little bitter for me (it's the only taste i could sort out for the short time i bite on the chili)
Peppers and Chilies ARE veggies.
I called those veggies coz its doesn't taste sweet? No, because it's really classified as vegetables.
Watermelons are veggies too, but they're sweet, and of course cucumber is also sweet for me personally.
Whatever it is, fruit or vegetable, doesn't matter to me. I'll never touch the stuff. I don't have a strong enough palette for spicy foods. Call me what you will, but the only pepper I'll ever put into my mouth is a bell.
