Looking on the bright side of things, Clannad has provided the hentai world with lots of fapping material. Perhaps that could make up for the depressing scenes, as long as one does not think about it.

Clannad is so far the only anime that made me cry.
Depressing as it is, it's too good to stop watching. Definitely a must watch anime. The VN is a must too!
