no. i decline and reject. and, now, i can't take anything you ever say and recommend seriously ever again and i don't even know you.
there is nothing poetic about emo-ism. i've heard two of the songs on
the black parade and find nothing sincere or astounding about any of them. you may say two songs is too small a sample size to judge an album or a band, but, this is the one case where i actually follow the reputation that precedes.
p.s. my chemical romance sucks.
You can't take anything I say seriously now? How petty.
All I can really say is that I haven't heard any of MCRs other stuff, but I've even heard advocates of The Black Parade say that it's typical emo fare, so I'm not really interested in looking into it. But I can honestly say that this album isn't the generic "slit my wrists and watch me bleed" shit. Also, except for a couple songs, it doesn't even sound that emo. Again, I'm not much of a music person, so my opinion may be worthless, but I really liked this album.
