I have absolutely NO CLUE why I am listening to Doggystyle, but suddenly, its' power washed over me and I threw it on. This album was the BOMB when I was growing up [I feel old now]. Anyway, I was curious if anyone has ever suddenly felt compelled to spin an album that they haven't listened to in ages.

Yes, a few times.
That was among others with my albums ACLOTM by Incubus, Room on Fire by The Strokes, Songs for the Deaf by QOTSA and Bleach by Nirvana.
It's a great feeling, because you're surprised that you still know when the refrains and riffs take place and wonder that you almost forgot about how good these records still are.
I guess something like that happens every once in a while and I think it's good that it does.
