My laptop's two 60GB hard drives are running low on me. Anybody know the prices of some external drives according to the size?

I have but one thing to say 2 u. Get a Simpletech 1tb Prodrive Quad interface model, it'z about $200 dollahs @ best buy. Why this model u ask? Because of the quad interface. If u want speed and full connection compatability, u've got ur ass covered with this model. It supports usb 2.0 with usb 1.1 compatability, firewire 400 and 800, as well as the godly eSATA, which tops out an a heavenly 3 gb/sec data transfer rate. if you don't have an eSATA port on your computer, if you have a laptop like I do, then you can just buy an eSATA port adapter card that goes into the little card slot thingie on teh side of the comp, and then buy the eSATA cable of course (the drive only comes with the usb 2.0 cable hookup, teh cheep bastardz...) the same can be done for the two firewire connections, and you can even combo-connect the drive through usb and firewire at teh same time for even moar speed! The quad interface also rockz for when you ever upgrade to a new computer, you will always be able to hook it up to it, because you have 4 interface types to chooze from. I bought one recently, and I am completely satisfied. When I fill this drive up (if I ever do :lol: ) I am most definitely going to buy another one and dual-mount then side by side with enough room so that they don't overheat one-another, bcuz this is the ultimate storage drive, handz down.

That iz exactly what I am talking about. Buy that mutha! U will not regret it. It is teh most awesum drive I ever uzed.

I've been needing to get another one for several months. I only have 5GB left.

The one I have now I got a couple of years ago. Its 120 GB, but for the price (bout a hundred $) I bought it for, I can now get a 250-500 GB.

Depending on how much more money I can get this week, I'm going to try to get either a 500 GB or hopefully a 1 TB.
