Free SQL server server?

errr... im quite desperate about this, does anyone here in fakku know where can i get a free sql server host? i dont know what its called but its a host that will hold your ms sql server database. i need it for my case study. >.<

just to be clear is it MySQL or MS SQL? Free MySQL is easy to find, the MS ive encountered one in the past thats free, rare. cant you just pay for one for a mere quarter then jsut cancel it when all is done.

MS. I already have a domain, but it does not support asp and asp is our subject now. I need to try my site. I need ms sql server. errr for the mere quarter part, i cant coz im just a student, i cant have a credit card, and im broke. x.x

the $0.00 server has an X sign at the SQL Server Management & Backup Tools. it does not have an sql server for free. x.x

it said 1 x 15 MB Database but since you dont have a credit card you cant pay the $2 setup fee still so...

you can gather some other classmates and pitch in to get a paid account then share it

I am over 18, but credit cards here requires a job and a minimum of like 5thousand worth of money deposited.

Why don't you just use whatever database you can get? you said you do not have access to a mssql database, so you can't be restricted by it, right??

Just just mysql with asp instead :)

I might do what you said, if I have no more choice. My site is ready to be uploaded, modifying it will be a pain in the arse. too many asp files to be modified x.x

If the solution includes money and bank account, they're out of the question. Why should the site need those infos if the service is free? x.x

If that is a problem then your code quality is poor, and this will give you a chance to fix this.
I know this might seem elitist, but it really is meant more as advice




Agreed, never pay for hosting unless you yourself can make money of the site, direct or indirectly.

Yes they do, that's why I already put that site out of the question. Because they said that the free hosting is for only $0.00, so why ask for a $1 fee? thus, making it not free at all ^^
