Whatever happened to guys keeping their hair neat and combed? I'm not a big fan of the bed head look.

A suggestion of mine. Ask your female friends what would look good on you. Women suggested I grow my hair out and other women loved it. Don't ask them what they want you to do but, what would look good on you in general.

Hrmm. . . I'm not a fan of hairstyles of this type, but I'll show you my past few hairstyles. :]
My sis is a stylist and she knows how to do visual kei hair.
I get this a lot from people who do not know me in real life, but yeah. Feel free to believe or disbelieve about if I had it or not.
