I just got a figure fail.

I recently saw that there was a sale on Toylet.net and saw a decent looking and reasonably priced figure of my favoritest character evar, Lilith from Darkstalkers. Now, I already own two figures of her but both are smallish; one is some gashapon or something and the other is from the Namco x Capcom series (this one actually looks pretty great). So I placed my order, thinking it was time for a larger, nicer figure.

I got larger and not nicer >.<



I don't know if you can tell, but her hair is bright, soul crushingly pink. Ever seen the really strange colors they use on bootleg figures? It reminds me of that. The figure itself doesn't look great either. Closer inspection revealed some noticeable mold lines, combined with a strange shiny look on the plastic that made it look really cheap. And her eyes look stupid.

I'll probably try selling it on eBay to get my monies back.

Anyone want to recommend some better Darkstalkers figures?

I've seen that one before. It looks nice, but I'm not sure how much I like it. It seems to lose a little of the cutesy anime look that I like about her character.

After seeing this topic, it makes me a bit more paranoid to buy from online. I want to personally inspect the figure myself for it's quality. I remember wanting to buy a revoltech figure, but when I saw it at a local anime convention I was surprised by how small it was.

i know what it feels, in 2008 i got figure fail,Shana from Shakugan no Shana, although the seller promised me that he will get that figure at the end he couldnt.
I should say that the seller was a good person cause the money that i paid him for the figure, was taken for other figure: Kanu Unchou from Alter.
But i was so frustrated for that figure of Shana and i never could get it.

I know it's a little late... and this figure is a little expensive... a little big... but it's supposedly an excellent figure:
