I may have done something stupid

I found out recently that the girl I like (and have for 4 years) is in a bind for money due to some bad paypal transaction. I care about her a lot and we are friends, so I anonymously sent her $75...was that wrong?

I don't really know...I just thought it was the right thing to do...

I don't see the reason to not just give it to her in person '>.>... It's nice and all but it seems like you're scared of her. I like to be apreciated for my work...

Good point. I suppose I should explain a little more.
She's about 3,000 miles away in the lower 48 while i am in Alaska. The anonymous part is because I wanted to do something nice, but I don't want her to feel like she owes me something.

I think it was considerate of you to send it in anonymously. Otherwise, there would be a chance that she'll just stress over having to return the favor to you which only increases her problems.

I guess knowing that you were able to pull her back up when she was down is good enough, no?

The important thing is that you let her know it was from an "important friend", if she doesn't get clarification that it wasn't from some crazy stalker, she just might go crazy. I'm being very literal here.

I would of probably let her know that you were sending it, agreeing with Azn, she might think someone is stalking her. But it also probably sets you up for the "friend zone" of thinking how sweet you are, being so far away and all helping her out in a pinch.

i think wot you did was reely considerate and its somthing id do in a heartbeat. i think you should let her know it was you cus you need to let her know that your a friend that will help wen she needs it the first step is trust if she trusts you then you have a better chance of going out with her and if she knows that you helped her though she may feel as thou she ows you she may also looke up to you in a way that lets her know you can and will help her in a time of need i think that would ern you major points.

Just send it to her. Saying that it was from you. Then you tell her. You dont owe me anything~ ^_~. And that if she tries giving it to you back, you wont take it~. If you guys are good friends then she'll understand. I understand the whole she owing your back, but hey, its whats friends do right? They look out for each other. =). I pay for my girlfriend all the time, pisses her off so much =P. She hates it when I pay.

lol last guy yea i spend money on my friends all the time last year i spent 30 o quid geting me a friend and his friend id just met into the cinema got the big comfy seats lots of popcorn huge drinks and sweets we were still eating them a day later lol wish i hadnt done that nw thou cus i lent a load of anime an movies worth over a hundred quidd and he "lost" them fucking bulshit but id still say it was you then let it go its only 75 dollars money comes and goes get on with it i do tell her somthing like that
