Well, you guys out there; those with an Apple I Phone in your pockets. Care to share why y'all prefer I Phone so much? Which, why, what and how does the phone attracts you?
They are okay, I guess. My regular phone can do most things this phone does, with the exception of all those shitty apps that you can buy for it, and streaming videos from some sites. Otherwise it is just a status symbol.
Off-topic post: was considering of whether or not I should buy an iPhone since both my cellphone and iPod broke, but decided I'd buy a Nokia N97 instead - I r happy that I chose the nokia.
But why I considering to buy it was because it saves pocket space... a cellphone and an iPod video takes a lot of space. That and it looks kewl.
I'm currently looking for a new phone, there's reasons why I look elsewhere instead of the iPhone or anything Apple in general. Too many people have them, Expensive, no drag and drop, big, touch screen doesn't like me, while the phone may be cheap if you get from provider with a deal, the plan is not.
I'm kind of stumped on what to get right now, thinking N86 or Nokia 6260 Slide. I just don't know why there's such a huge price gap between the 2 ($1800 for the 6260, $4200 for the N86) . Sony's aren't bad, just not really fond of their new styling.
Like people posted above the IPhone is just a status of wealth(Fake wealth, because most people who have them can barely keep payments on them).
There is nothing that special about them that other phones cant do, "MP3, video, Phone, Touchscreen..." the only thing it has going for it is the Butt-load of apps, which after a while you realize you don't really need most of them.
Plus the phone is shiny... and everyone knows that shiny things sell...
I personally decided not to get the IPhone. A normal phone was all i needed. :3
I didn't need 1000 apps to talk to someone on the phone!
I'm one of those types that don't like cellphones, damn people trying to find me everywhere...
If it dials, it will do.
I Phones, I believe, are just a status symbol. Sure touchscreens are nice but that also means I'd have to wipe the display every five minutes, even with that anti-fingerprint technology.

I bought my iPhone so I wouldn't have to carry around my iPod Touch and cell phone. Plus with the release of OS 3.0, bluetooth headphones work (at least for stereo audio; still waiting on controls).
I do wish for a higher res/DPI screen like the one on the DROID though. A physical keyboard option would be nice like you got on old Palms. Bluetooth and portable.
Also, lack of Tethering and locked to a carrier sucks.
I have an itouch and I like iphones cuz they hae the smoothest touch interface out of all the new touch phones. Also, jailbreaked iphones are a wonder. I love my yandere winterboard theme nya~
Don't have or like the iPhone. I prefer keeping my music player and my phone separate. With that said, I do have the iTouch. The interface is easy to use and there are enough game apps to keep you busy when you're bored.
Well, I don't have an iPhone, but I do plan on getting one. One of my friends keeps trying to convince me to buy similar phones from other phone companies (he has a good argument, though - iPhones cost 700$-1,000$ in Belgium, and that's rounded downwards), but I have several good reasons to get an iPhone instead:
[list][*]I'm getting a MacBook in about 18 months, and I'm not too sure about the other phones' compatibility with Macs. There's probably a good reason their website refers to them as "Windows phones".[*]iTunes. Also an argument for iPods. Just... iTunes. I have yet to find a more useful, user-friendly and fast way to collect and sort your music. And as far as I know, iTunes only works with, you know, iPods and iPhones.[*]Reputation. Face it, reputation. Other phones simply won't garner the same attention an iPhone does, and yes, I am sort of a reputation whore.[*]The touch screen, which as I have experienced is the only touch screen I've ever met that works decently. Unlike the screen on my Nintendo DS, which I hope for the world was unique to my DS.[*]That's about it, actually. I'd list the Customer Service Apple provides, but that doesn't apply in Belgium, so I'm all out of arguments.[/list:u]
