Ichiro Suzuki is a Samurai Warrior

So, in Japan, some company has come out with a collectible action figure of Seattle Mariners baseball player Ichiro Suzuki as a samurai warrior, complete with sword, armor, baseball cap, and bat.

Personally, I think this is hilarious. Baseball is huge and Ichiro is very popular, but this is still kind of ridiculous.

that only thing i can say is "why?"

Reminds me of an episode of Hataraki-man where Hiroko is writing an article about 7 influential japanese people, naturally dubbed '7 samurai'. One of them was a baseball player just like this guy. Maybe that's where they got the idea. ...although I sorta doubt it.
