I'm gonna be living in Japan for a while. Any advice?

I'm going to Boot Camp on May and serve the United States Navy for 4 years, then go to A school to become a Master at Arms. I could choose from many countries where I could work like Italy, Germany, Korea, or in the US or Hawaii, but I'm leaning towards working in Japan. I'm most likely gonna be working in the Naval Air Facility Atsugi which is a like 30 minute train ride from Tokyo. I'm probably gonna start working by the 2nd week of October.

Any advice, stories, or comments are appreciated. :)

My friends in the Navy, if I could just get him to post here, (he's already a member, he just doesn't post much if at all) i'll c if I can get him to tell you a thing or two
