Im in for it.

Today we got are report cards from school,the highest grade i got for this term was a C...and the most reoccurring grade was E, it was only one terms marks, so i can still turn my grades around pretty easy but well im not used to these grades, my parent expects a lot from me, and even though im beyond the point in my life where the blinding infantile love for a parent effects me..i still don't want to disappoint him.

I'm not surprised i got these grades, this term was my 'party' term, meaning all i would do in my spare time was party, i guess why im writing this forum post is because i need to get it of my chest? Or maybe i need Fakku's advice? One of the other main reasons i got such low grades was because i never handed in coursework, has anyone on Fakku ever left course work till the last minute? If so, tell me how it worked out for you.

Yeah, don't get into the habit of doing stuff at the last minute or you're going to make life a little bit harder on yourself in the future. Good luck raising those grades.


What does E stand for? Only heard of I and W...

Hahaha i knew there would be at least one person that asked my stage in the pyramid of education, I'm in 6th form, i don't know what level of education that correlates to in the American education system, in England 6th form is the stage just before University, im about a year away from finishing 6th form, im am over 18, so no worries.

I dont normally leave things to the last minute, its just as i said before it was my 'party' term, i had the mind set of 'live in the present time, dont worry about the future until your there' this view contradicts almost every other view i have..well almost its hard to explain.

I think everyone goes through that party stage in their year before University. I know I did...heck...I barely took any real classes my senior year. I took..Spanish...and a bunch of TA/Admin helper stuff, lol.

I took Digitalapp (digital applications, everything to do with IT really)
Geography, maths and additional science and psychology as well as the normal core lessons of English, math, science.
I think seeing those grades was the thing i needed to really shape up!

here's what i learned... my senior year (the year before i went to college) i partied my ass off. grades slipped, but i was already excepted to a college. once i got to college i would party but i knew if i studied my ass off i would get out of school earlier. once i was out, party time on my own rules. maybe motivation like that would help?
