new setup and workstation layout

I am going to be building a new system based on the intel core i7 965 processor and intel x58 chipset
running a 3 way sli setup and 3 25.5 1200p hdmi monitors
but the layout i want to do is based on the X105 strike gundam
in other words the keyboard is attached to a vertical swing arm on the seat the mouse and pad mounted to an adjustible arm rest and my flight sticks set up on the arm rests as well
the sound controls in the left arm rest
so i want your opinion on this setup and layout and any mods to it
that you recomend

That shit better be doing some hardcore scientific research that will someday save the earth from certain destruction.
If I were to upgrade, I would probably use most of my existing stuff for it and throw my old stuff into a $20 case to act as a file server or give it to a relative
I'd probably get a i7 920, 9800gt, and some bargain basement mobo/memory and be content but even that is way too much for me atm. my cost? probably around $700 and my upgradeability options are still there if for some reason I need to do said hardcore scientific research. It seems like I'm always upgrading everytime all these new consoles come out so I make a rule that I never go over twice as much as they cost. I hope you realize all that stuff you are getting now is going to depreciate horrendously.
rethink it man! I'm looking out for ya! you realize with the money you saved you could instead eat prime ribs every day for dinner for a year? or even get some high quality poontang for like a month straight?
