GTX 780 EVGA SC with an i7-3770k and 16GB ram. None of these are overclocked, other than the evga 780. I play at 1440p, is this setup already obsolete for that kind of gaming? Should i go back to a 1080p monitor to safely play, or have I been to spoiled by the 1440p that i won't be able to go back to looking at a 1080?

What is everyone's opinions ? what is best for loli hentai viewing newer games coming out?

I think that it's better to upgrade at least your GPU if you want to play the most recent games at 1440p.

I bought a 980ti strix almost 4 months ago and i can assure you that you can run whatever you want with whatever graphic setting. I played all kinds of games since i bought it and its fans never turned on.
It's built with the zero RPM fans thingy, so the fans do not turn on until you reach 60 °C. Not even Fallout 4 managed to make the 980ti Strix fans turn on and i think it's a good indicator that the GPU cooling system is really well made. (You can create a custom profile for the fans too, so they will start spinning at the temperature you want them to).

Beware of a thing however, this GPU is REALLY big and heavy. Many people on the Internet complain that it sags pretty heavily sometimes and others are stuck with a GPU that has coil whine problems.

Last but not least, the pulsating strix logo could be annoying.

Anyway, apart from the slight problem with the logo, I am not experiencing any of these problems so i think it all comes down to luck. If you are lucky enough to receive a GPU as "perfect" as mine, you will be really pleased.

For the "sagging" problem, I think it concern the mobo too. As I already said, this GPU is really heavy. I have read about people complaining that the GPU was sagging already 3-4 days after they put it in the PC. To me, sounds like they were not able to secure the card properly to the case (with the 2 case screws) or their mobo was not able to support the weight. I have a Sabertooth TUF X99 (yeah, the one with the armor) and it's really sturdy, so the GPU weight is not much of a problem.

If you plan to buy the same mobo as me, I can assure you there will be no problems. If you have a different model, try to look for someone with the same model as you that is also running a 980ti to see if there are any major problems.
