TTGL, but that's obviously going to be put in eventually (considering the 3-year rule). Gainax loves the series, so they'd have no reason to not give the ok on it.

seeing him do a combo attack with the original Jeeg would be awesome.

I wouldn't mind seeing some American stuff put into it, alas every mecha worth mentioning is probably tied to superheroes and then they would get involved and it would turn into an even bigger mess, it would probably still be entertaining to watch Monkey power up King Gainer or maybe the Macross.

what about MEGAS?

No wait, that wouldn't work, since the button layout changes every episode. We'd never get a solid attack set.

I don't know about Megas being in SRW, that guy seems to have different kind of attack in each of the episodes I saw.

I think the G1 transformers would make a great addition to SRW.

Megas wouldn't fit because his powers are fairly random, sometimes you get deathblossom sometimes you get time-space continuum alterations, but it is always random and always horrifyingly powerful. Megas would fit if you would take all the weird crap out of it and just left it as an ultra-heavy combat mech.

Alright then...Code Geass and Gundam 00, along with Macross Frontier should be in the SRW after SRW Z. It's quite difficult to say, since so many of my favorite mecha animes are already in SRW. I have yet to see Gun X Sword, but I hear many want that in there. Also, I have yet to see Sokyuu no Fafner, but it sounds like it should be in SRW, especially considering its age. It's at least as old as GSD, if not older.

I would have said Golion (Voltron), but it's in SRW W and I'm enjoying using the thing. It's like a heavily toned down SRX that you get early. I am happy with all the series inclusions that SRW Z is bringing, though I would like to see Godannar included in something that isn't Scramble Commander.

I think that if they are going to include the Tekkaman series in SRW then that opens up almost every hero in high tier powered armor, like Iron Man or Samus Aran.

I'm a little doubtful about those specific choices. After all, Samus is Nintendo property AND I can't see her being able to function in space well, though I'm confused about M9s in space. As for Iron Man, I doubt Marvel would let him in a game exclusively for Japan, unless the SRW was ported here. I can understand SEGA including Virtual-On characters though.



SRW J and SRW W already have most of the Full Metal Panic! units. As for Metal Gear, Zone of the Enders has a better chance. If that can get into SRW, then Metal Gear will might be able to, though it's doubtful.

Those specific choices were selected because they are both capable of fighting on the level of large scale mecha, and because they were what I could think of on short notice. Samus' suit works fine in zero-G it has space jump, and a jet pack let us not forget that many mechs do not work in space, Big O for example. They just don't let you fly her around because you don't need to. I'm not going to question the politics involved in getting big name American characters like Iron Man or Steel, or even Aric of Dacia (X-O Manowar), even though he isn't that big of a name. Let's be honest the people who own those names are fickle creatures at best, I'm simply saying that those names should also be considered when conversing about high-end powered armor.

Zone od the enders mecha is all I'll say. too bad it'll never appen.

Zone of the Enders has a chance, but that is if Hideo Kojima is willing to let Banpresto use them. Let's not forget, SEGA got to put in their Virtual-On mechas, which means that Banpresto is willing to allow mecha from video games, while Snake participated in Brawl, which means that Hideo Kojima is willing to let other companies use his characters. It's not too much of a stretch to think that ZOE will be in SRW. Besides, there's talk of another ZOE and if he puts them in the next SRW, it would actually help sales of the next ZOE.

I thing battle system in ZOE Fist of Mar is kind of rip off from SRW.

Actually, it's not a ripoff, but it was way too easy. The IAS System that they put in meant that your attacks could hit 100% of the time and your enemies' attacks could miss 100% of the time. It was neat, but completely broken. Unfortunately, if you turn it off, the game becomes impossible. No one has beaten the game without using the IAS System.

Now that you mention it, they could easily put in the FOM units for the next portable SRW if Kojima allowed it.

it's a Sunrise series. There's no way that it ISN'T getting in. Anything mecha-related by Sunrise or Go Nagai is gaurunteed a slot.
