Sectioning a large video

I have a 10 gig music concert of Mizuki Nana. I downloaded through a torrent.
What program will I need to:
1) Seperate it into two parts; also,
2) Seperate into 500 megs parts to upload; or
3) Will I need to section parts of the video into less than 500 megs each for uploading.
The first part is for my mp4 player that has 8 gig max but I can purchase another 8 gig mini drive for this player.
