Funny thing just happened, I saw a commercial for another 3D movie: The final destination. MMMM, 3D guro.
Lol, I suppose movies themed for adults will end up in 3D afterall. Now, off to see the trailer.
If I remember correctly, this whole 3D thing started with
My Bloody Valentine, a horror movie. Now, with
The Final Destination, it looks like my fears are being realized - horror films are hopping on the 3D bandwagon. (Thankfully, it seems that FD will also have a 2D release, "in select theaters.")
Thinking about it, I have overreacted a bit to this 3D fad, seeing as most of the movies that have come out have been aimed towards kids, but I'm upset mostly because I believe that 3D won't stick just to kids' movies. It could spread to horror (the signs are already there), action, sci-fi - everything that could possibly use it.
