slr or a tablet

i was thinking im 18
and i do everything im in 2 bands i sing play guitar and bass
i draw,write and i like photography but i wanna pick something to stick with .
should i by a new slr and go down that road or should i buy a tablet and make my art into a new level ?

I'd go for a tablet, Im in college and I'm saving up for either a Dell or Fujistu because I want to use the tablet for school and art purpose and for me the slate poses a real problem for school, one thing is for sure my wallet will be high and dry after that.

Get a ModBook if budget isn't a concern. That's what I'm using right now.

I'd personally go with a DSLR because you can charge your friends and people for your service as a photographer
