small bands that kick ass

okay these are some of my favorite bands and i do mean that. they really are amazing i mean only thing i think stopping them from being huge is they are not getting a lot of exposure to the world so i am going to help. anyway here are some videos for most of the bands from youtube they may be crappy in video quality but in audio quality at least for my speakers and all it's very good.
first band is edgewater no my guess is this is most likly the better know of the samller bands
EDGEWATER
the second one is a somewaht local band (same state, but not same town) called Denial Method. sadly ( and they were the ones i really want people to hear ) the only videos i could find were of live performanes at there cd release show and very sadingly the audio sucked so all i can say is to go check out there myspace page. IMO the only thing keeping these guys from being a huge band is they have yet to be signed or discovered by music label company ( to my knowledge at least )
( okay so ya know while i have been typing this when i came to a new band was when i went to look for the video i would use) with that being said this surprised me to find and i think it kicks total ass, a fan of the next band called " Alexisonfire " has made a DBZ amv so i decide i would use that video, the song is called " Accidents " in all truth it is not my favorite by this band but still a very good song. my favorite song by them is " This Could Be Anywhere In The World "
no idea how big this next band is but they freaking rock and as i said no idea how big they are. oh and also another amv. this one done to bleach my all time favorite anime. anyway the band is " Pillar " and the song is " Frontline " i have to joke though first time i heard this i always thought it would be a kick ass song to do a amv for air gear to.
okay so this next video is just for laughs i saw this while looking for other things and could not help but laugh. it is so freaking fuuny
anyway let me know what ya thought about them especially denial method i bet they would love to know there are being heard by more people.

Yea even I've heard of Edgewater. I love South of Sideways (one of their albums). Can't say I've listened to any of their other music, but everything on SoS is pretty kickass.

and with that my copy of SoS that i have. i got from going to a 3DG concert when they came through town i got to the concert place at like 10 in the morning and was the only person there until 4 in the afternoon so i got to chill and talk with all the bands at the concert including Edgewater, and 3DG. it was really awesome cause justin middleton mainly came up and asked if i wanted to listen to there cd that was going to be released in a month( which of course this cd was SoS )so i said yeah and liked what i heard so he said he would sell it to me for $10, bought it and then got every single band member of Edgewater to sign the cover. i think the coolest autograph from that was ricky wolking's cause it said thanks for coming and rocking with us all day.

I got three bands.
The first one is Explosions in the Sky. They're a purely instrumental rock band from Austin, Texas, and this is one of my favorite songs from them, Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean.
Band number two is The Naked Empire, also from Austin, Texas. They also are a rock group, and I think they're pretty bitchin'.
The third and final band I know the singer of, and he has to be one of the best improvers I've ever met. And i've had the privilege of being taught somethings by him. :D
Anyways, the band is called Heavy Honey, and they sound like a heavier version of Gun's and Roses but actually good. (i'm not really a fan of Axel and the gang). This is their song Soul Selling.

Some of my favorite bands are teeny. For instance, No More Kings, probably best known for their song, Sweep the Leg. They just came out with their second album, 'The Flying Boombox'. A mixture of groovy nostalgic tones and creative lyrics, this group is alot of fun.
Another one is K's Choice. Unfortunately, that group broke up and the lead singer started singing on her own...she isn't doing too well. Still, back when they were together, they had some awesome songs, the following probably being the most prominent.
Finally, I should mention The Gas House Gang, which is more of a barbershop quartet than a band, but they kicked ass back when they were together, known as one of the world's best. Unfortunately, their baritone died due to cancer, so they split up. I'm glad I got to sing with them at one of our concerts where they were a guest quartet, also managed to snag their autographs.
