Suggestion's?

I just came from a quincera *no idea how to spell it* and during the dance between father and daughter I had to take a picture... I took the picture and Photoshoped it *I intend to frame it for them and give it to them as a gift.*

Here's is the end result...



The woman on the right is her mother. My main question was should I edit the mother out and focus on the father and daughter? Any other suggestions are helpful.

Leaving the mother in seems to create a sense of longing or something. Like the picture is more about the mother's feelings towards the dance between the father and daughter.

Exactly! It creates such an emotional attachment...

Envy at a distance to me.... i think if you blend the mother into the rest of the crowd [is that what you meant by editing her out?] It would create a wonderful effect. Focusing on the mother as a separate part of the picture seems almost... insulting.
