Thank god for groovy pain pills.

What a way to start out my spring break. :roll: No, not a trip to Florida to chill on the beaches as stare luridly at hawt babes in bikinis, but rather a trip to the oral surgeons office to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed in one shot. :shock: The post title pretty much says the rest of the story for itself. :lol: Give me Percocet, or give me morphine; one of the two will do. I for one got percocet as my painkiller of choice for this particular medical escapade. There was one upside to all this however: When the Doc knocked me out for the procedure, I dreamt a wonderful dream; I dreamt that I was the only guy on a topless beach filled with hawt babes that went on for as far as the eye could see. :wink: I just hope to god that I didn't pop a boner in the middle of the procedure right in front of those hawt nurses. :oops: But then again, if it turns out that I did spring wood, I wonder what those hawt nurses did about it, because I didn't have one when I woke up. :wink: But because of that, I consider this entire event to have been well worth it.
P.S. - currently just a wee bit loopy on my nighttime dose of painkillers. Please disregard any severe spelling and/or grammar mistakes. :oops:

Sadly no. The one time when I actually used any kind of pain killers were during a knee ''operation''. Though they helped quite alot against the pain, They wasn't strong enough to even make me feel somewhat dizzy.

I've never dreamed when I was knocked out getting my wisdom teeth pulled. They gave me, I forgot the name of the gas, something to "calm me down" I think it was laughing gas? Cause when they gave it to me, I felt like laughing for an odd reason when I usually don't. Then they put me to sleep. The next thing I know they're already done.

The only time I took any type of painkiller was during circumcision about 8~9 years ago...
An sadly I didn't have any freaky dreams cause I was awake through the whole damn thing. 3 Minutes... *Injection of Morphine*... *Snip*... All done. Now your bedridden for a Month or less :wink:

I've only been put under once, for minor surgery, but I wasn't really put all the way down. I couldn't feel my body at all, but I wasn't entirely unconscious. I actually had a partial conversation with the anesthesiologist. I imagine I was talking like someone who was EXTREMELY high, because...well, I pretty much was. I have a vague recollection of the whole thing, including leaving the hospital. I remember emphatically trying to convince the nurse and my mom that I felt fine and they should just let me go. I really just would rather sleep in my own damn bed than those uncomfortable hospital beds that are too short for me.

But pain pills are great.

Wow I guess that is something to look forward to when I need to get mine removed. Only got 1 though, thank god the other 3 came out right

The last time I was sedated, I was totally knocked out by it.

painkillers? hmmm... when i was got an accident, my chin skin's was ripped, so the doctor had to sew it. But the painkiller only injected on my chin, not knocked me out.... so, i could feel the needle through my skin.

Same thing happened to me, when I was 13. Though the procedure took 30 mins and the painkiller was injected, not swallowed; the needle strategically placed on my bawls for 3 mins. The painkiller wore off just a couple minutes after the procedure. MY GOD, if it wore off DURING it.

I cannot remember most of the stuff I dream about at home let alone when I'm in the hospital.
