Let me say this first. I am NOT a critic, officially or self-proclaimed. I just like pretending that I am.
Ok, So quick story. I was GOING to write this up on Opera, but that absolutely failed and so now I'm writing it on the trusty Google Chrome.
Anyways, this is one man's mediocre attempt at reviewing different browsers. So here are the 5 Main web Browsers:
IE(Internet Explorer)
Mozilla Firefox
Google Chrome
Opera
Safari (Which I'm hoping someone w/ a mac will write a review for me, seeing as how I have a PC)
I will be 'grading' these browsers on 5 separate categories, namely:
The Awesome Factor: How good it looks.
The Ninja Factor: How fast it runs.
The Trust Factor: How Reliable it is.
The Interactive Factor: How many built-in features it has.
And, The Ease-Of-Use Factor: How much my frustration decreases when i use it.
But of course, the Overall factor.
So, let's begin.
Internet Explorer
Awesome Factor: 5/10. Maybe I'm biased here but IE just looks.... bland. It's button configuration is different from ANY other browser, which is confusing when (and if) I use it.
Ninja Factor: 3/10. IE is just slow. Every time I use, I often find myself leaning back in my chair waiting for my page to load.
Trust Factor: 8/10. Now here it scores some good points, because as long as I've been using it, it doesn't seem to ever not load a page or download something. Slowly but surely, IE will load all of my pages w/ few problems.
Interactive Factor: 4/10. Good try, Microsoft. IE Features are, also, bland. No unique features, tabbed browsing is scarce to work(for me at least), and I rarely use 'Suggested sites'.
Ease-of-Use Factor: 2/10. IE. IS. FRUSTRATING. All the time, Prompts about stuff I don't care about, and the speed is lethargic. I get depressed using IE, as well as frustrated.
Overall: 4.5/10

Mozilla Firefox
Awesome Factor: 2/10. Firefox doesn't really have a look. It's more bland than IE, which is not even close to insulting. It's revolting.
Ninja Factor: 10/10. This is Ninja Fast. I can't believe how much reality it warps, it's so fast. But it takes a stupid amount of time to boot up.
Trust Factor: 4/10. Surprisingly low for a lightning-fast Browser, right?. Why? Because just about every time I close the thing, I try to open it back up, and it tells me to close the program. WHICH I JUST DID.
Interactive Factor: 8/10. Pretty much the same as any other browser, except tabs work (unlike IE). But it suffers a significant Performance change when 4+ tabs are open. Also, When you open it back up, it (automatically) reloads the page you were on. EDIT: Also, I forgot about the plugin feature.
Ease-Of-Use Factor: 7/10. Despite it's bad appearance and me having to restart my system (just about every time) to use it, I'm pretty satisfied with Firefox. It's comfortable, fast and easy to use.
Overall: 7.5/10

Google Chrome
Awesome Factor: 8.5/10. Simple would be the best way to describe Google Chrome. It's sleek, nice and round, and just cool-looking.
Ninja Factor: 9.5/10. This is incredible. I might as well be going Mach 25, this is so fast. No joke.
Trust Factor: 7/10. It's trustworthy, but occasionally it locks up on one page and won't let me go any further, causing me to restart my system.
Interactive Factor: 8.5/10. Tabbed browsing is functional, and suffers little performance changes with more tabs. A Most visited Sites list is displayed when you open your browser, making things easier.
Ease-Of-Use Factor: 8/10. I use Chrome everyday because it's easy to use. It's a bit of a breather from other browsers' rough edges.
Overall: 8.5/10

Opera
Awesome Factor: 10/10. This is quite honestly the nicest looking browser I've ever seen. It's sleek, it's black and it's AWESOME.
Ninja Factor: 2.5/10. Contrary to it's looks, It's speed is not up to par with the two aforementioned browsers.
Trust Factor: 4/10. Out of the little time I've been using it, It's been up and down. Pretty bleh.
Interactive Factor: 8/10. At first glance, it's not sophisticated at all. but again, at first glance. When loading up the web page, I appreciate the 'Elements X/Y left' thing in the address bar. When opening a new tab, Speed Dial shows, which is any web page you want to go to quickly. Very cool.
Ease-Of-Use Factor: 7/10. Despite my constant blehs about Opera, I find myself strangely satisfied after I use it, and keep going back to use it.
Overall: 6.5/10

That's it. If you feel like challenging any of my views, go check out the browsers' individual sites and try them yourself. Post a comment here (plz!!) when you use 'em, and let me know what you think.
