Awwwwwwww...cute.......it's still wrong. She's 13! My goodness if they really were in love can't he just wait. And why are kids these days (and at 13, she is a kid) hanging out with older men? I used to think underaged kids dating older people was uncommon, but on a recent visit to my alma mater I found out that more than 30% of the freshman young ladies are dating men over the age of 21! I once knew a kid in highschool that tore himself apart because he found out the girl he likes is sexually active with older (much older) men. What ever happened to highschoolers dating people their own ages? Age is not a problem when it comes to love but at highschool I think we can take exceptions. Even though it's 4 years, there's a big difference when a highschool senior dates a freshman (18-14 or 13). What the hell is wrong with this generation of teenagers!?

It goes to show that the law in place differs from one country to the next.
Still, I am not sure what methods or guidelines the court used to gauge love and consent. The possibility that the girl was manipulated remains.

What the fuck was she thinking?She's a child; she wasn't thinking. At her age, an older man's attention and "love" was probably flattering and very overwhelming. I doubt she realized the seriousness of her actions (and his). That's why it's so disheartening to hear that the law, which should have protected her since it's obvious she can't do that for herself, failed so horribly- and for such a ridiculous argument.
