Trouble Shooting lcd Help

I have a Dell S2409w 24 inch lcd. I have had it for around 2 months. However, just today I have a vertical light blue line going down the lcd. I been googling the problem and pretty much everybody says to RMA it.
Does anybody have a fix for this thing that I can do at home? I don't want to RMA it b/c I don't like the wait time and I would like use this computer during my holiday break. I switched out the DVI cable, swithed to Analog, then finally hooked it up to to my labtop, but I still get the same blue line so its not my graphics card, or computer; it's the monitor.
I bought a Dell monitor expecting quality and I get this...Any hints, suggestions anybody before I call Dell?

I don't think there's anything you can do yourself, since it's a monitor problem which means it's a hardware thing, sorry. Your best bet would be to RMA like everyone else said. Though if you bought it at a store, you could probably get them to exchange it rather than calling Dell, look at the receipt for details.

Yeah like you said I RMA'ed it. I called Dell, and they were very helpful. The Indian tech support guys went out their way saying that they will try to ship a monitor to my house before Christmas and that I wouldn't have to ship the bad one until I got the new one.
The whole process is at no cost to myself. First time really I had a overwhelmingly positive experience with overseas tech support. Beside Apple, I never had such a positive tech support experience.
