Honestly, If I can just travel the world studying and observing different animal species I would be a very happy man.

I don't really care about the amount of money I would make. If I get paid to work with animals, I know that I have made it.

Definitely pursue it. Although try not to go out like Steve Irwin did, the world needs more people working on conservation, shame that he died.
