Where do I find obscured songs?

I'm looking for a place to download some obscured Mp3s.
I've compiled a list of over 50 songs, from listening to various radio stations. Problem is, all these songs are hard to find.

Are there any software like Napster still roaming around?

i use limewire. and it works just fine for me. they still have a huge database:>

I've heard of Limewire before... I'm glad it's still around.
Does anyone still use Edonkey? I used to find rare songs on that too.

I never really have had good experiences with Limewire,it tended to give me viruses

Thats y you look at the size of the file:
If its too small it tends to be a virus
And you always want to download rar or zip files only(If it comes with just something called setup.exe its a virus as well)
Alsooooo....the porn tends to end up being viruses...so if thats what u use it for...ide watch meh back.

Limewire works as long as you know what your looking for and the file is mp3-music wise(not wmp or anything else...just mp3) and over 1000kb(1500kb sometimes...most music tends to be anywhere from 3000-6000kbs a song).

If you download programs make sure they are in zip or rar because u dont want bad things roamin your pc
(After you dl the free version from the site just look up LimeWire Pro in LimeWire and you dont have to pay :3)

yeah i had a hard time finding a good limewire ..in the end i had to use one my sister had saved on her laptop. works like a charm:>.

xD...ya...but this is my laptop(old-Inspiron B130) that i could care less about...its crashed, been reformatted, harddrive 100% wiped, and other things about 20 times....so a virus or two wont kill me....now on my gamin pc...i wont go near a hentai site ._. or any other unknown site...i love that thing to death(given that my friend built it from scratch for me).
Soo...i download things i think might not be viruses...if they are they get deleted..or my laptop gets dead again....

I am also a bit of a collector of obscure music, though mostly in the "Classical" genre. Perhaps I could be of assistance though?

eMule is good. I'm sure it's related to eDonkey in some way, but I'm not sure how. Anyway, it's good for finding old stuff too, as long as you don't mind waiting a while when there aren't many sources sharing the file you want. Post the list, maybe people here can send you the music if they already have it.

any big file sharing network has obscure songs in it. a another way is by using bittorent.
