Who's excited for FireFox 3?!?!

I didn't really know much about Fire Fox 3 and when it was going to be released even when I had the beta version on my computer, but after reading this article from PC World I'm hyped over these new features. Hopefully everything will go smoothly when it's released.

What I'm most excited for:
Better Performance - I"ll admit when I'm on my shitty laptop it experiences some crashes due to too many applications running + FireFox/Add-ons.

Better Bookmarks - I have 6 sites that are RSS'd and I'm a bookmark addict, I stumble upon an interesting page - I bookmark it. This feature will enhance and organize your bookmarks than before.

I really can't wait to see how awesome FF will get.

Want a general idea of how awesome FF will always be? Take the equivalent Internet explorer and multiply the usefulness and general awesomeness and multiply it by 1000

Well, as long as it work fine, and is still better than Internet Explorer, then Firefox 3 will be welcome on my desktop.

I must say, it is faster than FF2. I also like the fact that you don't have to type in the whole URL to get to a website. (E.g. I type "hen" into the URL and up comes a link to Fakku) Some of the addons aren't yet compatible, but they are getting updated to work with it.

yeah thats exactly why didn't use the beta version, my add-ons didn't work

cool, and i only just upgraded to v2 recently, gonna expect it to continue be much more useful than internet explorer

I wouldn't necessarily say I'm "excited", but I am looking forward to it.

I think I will be sticking to Opera since I am already accustomed to it.

Last I heard, Firefox tends to consume memory (RAM) inconsistently. Is it still the case for Firefox 2, and perhaps version 3 when it is released? *unsure*

Used FF3B3 for a while. It was sometimes unstable, but otherwise passed. Right now, I'm working on a -clean- Vista machine which I just formatted, so I guess I'll use the current release candidate, whatever it's up to.

Using FF3 RC1 right now and here it's rock stable and blazing fast
