they are making windows 7 which will be out in 2009 the haven't really done much. basically Microsoft added a new task bar & actually listen to the problems people had with vista and fixed them

They offfically gave XP the axe on June 25th of this year. I hear they will continue XP support [updates and shit] until 2012. As for those of you who still want it, don't freak; computer manufacturers' are still licensed to put OEM versions of XP until sometime in 2009
