Women's World Cup Bracket
So knockout stages have started. I always try watching but they tend to have the games I really want to watch going on when I am at work.
Round of 16 going on now till Tuesday. Biggest surprise so far is the Australia beating out Brazil with a late goal. Great to see some games come down to the wire like a few have. Though most of the normal teams we expect to win have been advancing it is nice to see this side of the sport growing.
I am rooting for United States to win, but they are going to have to first get through a tough Columbia team and then China, and then finally beat what looks like a dangerous France or best team in the World in Germany. That is only to get to the finals. The other half of the bracket doesn't seem as strong, but teams like Canada, Norway, Australia, and of course last World Cup winner Japan.
