So I've been reading Incredible Crazy Court Cases, and I'm reading the Crazy laws section.
and I just have to ask WTF Singapore?
You can face up to a 1500 dollar fine for crossing the boarder with less than 3/4 a tank of gas
You can not let your car get too filthy, and you can't use a water hose to wash it.
It is Illegal to be caught naked in your own home.
It's even illegal to buy gum in Singapore, the only way you can get gum into the county i to bring a max of 2 packs in with you.

third is true cus there was a case where man was at his balcony Stretching in his "birthday suit" and some1 took a pic a of him...
Forth one well thats true cus one someone place a gum on the Train door and the door could not close soo the Govement banned all gums to Singapore
(but me and my friends would sneak in 3 boxes of gum :D :D

Most places have their share of crazy laws. We're all just trying to find a system that works eh? As odd as some of their laws might be, Singapore is thriving, populous city, so they gotta be doing something right eh? Anyway, one wonders how strictly those laws are enforced. Living in New york City and as a user of public transportation, I would love it the quality of life laws (ie, no littering, loitering, noise pollution, etc.) were enforced more vigorously.

It's too hard to prune all the stupid laws so they just don't get enforced. If you look hard enough you can find laws in wherever you live that say it's illegal to cook ramen in a bowler hat while wearing purple flip flops.

There is no way I could handle that much big brother. A good government is the kind that governs least, and leaves responsibility in the hands of the people. For better or for worse.

I never knew that in New Jersey its illegal for a man to knit during the fishing season or to frown at a police officer.
Also, in South Africa, it is illegal to purchase a television without a license. In Sweden, "If you release pigs into a acornwood (or a beechnutwood) mutually owned by you and at least one more, and exceeded your quota of allowed pigs, you will have to pay a fine for each each pig to the other owners and to restore any damages caused by the extra pigs."
