Kevin Smith's latest film focuses on two childhood friends who find themselves in dire need of money. Having already lost all their dignity, and having no other options, the two decide to make a porno.
It's a comedy by Kevin Smith about two friends making a porn movie. What else needs to be said?
I saw this movie last night, and it was utterly, completely, terrificly fantastic. Never did ten seconds go by without some sort of laugh coming out of my mouth, except in some emotional scenes that didn't bore me at all. No, the emotional scenes were very good, too, which comes as no surprise considered Kevin Smith has been doing great emotional scenes for over ten years now.
This movie doesn't take place in Smith's View Askewniverse, but fans of Smith's films will still feel at home, since the film heavily features Jeff Anderson of Randal fame and Jason Mewes, who was Silent Bob's hetero lifemate Jay.
All the actors do a wonderful job, especially Seth Rogen as Zack and Elizabeth Banks as Miri. Seth Rogen's got a bright future ahead of him, I say, and the fans will only profit from it.
So, has anyone else seen the movie? Anyone want to see it? General thoughts?
I think Kevin Smith's hung up Jay and Silent Bob for good.
!!!
He's done pretty much everything he can with the characters. I personally think it's time to move beyond them, and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same.

Yeah, he's done with that universe for a while. Some eople were actually surprised when he announced Clerks 2. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was supposed to be the last movie involving all of those characters.
...wow...penishands? ...that's just soem wierdass mutated shit that I wish to never see in real life. Disturbing as f*ck. Just thinking about it is wierd. He has to touch all his food with his cock and then eat it?
I love this movie. I liked Role Models better, but I really couldn't compare them since they'll both make you shit your pants laughing.. speaking on shit, the anal scene was the funniest moment I've seen in a movie!
