[Locked] Are individuals morally obligated to assist people in need?

This goes back to the 2010 debate. State your opinions on why or why not people or obligated to assist people in need.

Need can be many things...food, give clothe, help the sick, help the wounded,etc.

Try to be general about your opinion since it is in a general perspective.

People are not obligated to do anything, but the right thing to do is to help those in need, help the sick, or give back to the community.
