Do they make u sign the package?

Normally a sign is needed. Depends which courier company is used and ultimately if the actual deliverer cares or if he is under pressure. Especially Amazon wants the driver to deliver every single package. If no one is home, the package will be dropped on the floor and they make a photo as proof.

General Rule of thumb is if the item is super expensive like a game system or something you have to sign. The only things I can remember having to sign for were my graphics card and my bed frame (more because they were to lazy to carry it up stairs and made me do it)
