Lower 48's snowstorms.

I've been seeing lately year after year that the lower 48's, lower 48's meaning the other US states, getting more and more freak snowstorms.
I have lived in Alaska my whole life, I live in a city with roughly 279,671 people and I've noticed we've been getting less and less snow each year.
Which leads me to believe, or atleast leaves me the impression that they're getting our snow. Or that it's moving down there.
I've seen that we're supposed to get warmer winters in the future, which is gay.
Sometimes I just laugh at articles such as this since people are like 'omg!'

Hmm... that sounds like an interesting case. In my area (West Coast), it has actually been a little less snow than past years. Not to say we won't be getting our snow soon, but I have noticed the news reports about blizzards all across the other side of the country.

If anyone was to take Alaska's snow it would be those Canadians. Hogging all the snow so the west coast hardly gets any. Its been plenty cold here, but nowhere near other places.

I'll have to see some facts to see if their have been more freak snowstorms, but it does seem like there have been. That or I just idn't pay attention when I was younger.

I'm living in Quebec, Canada, and, while I can't say we're getting hotter winters in general, the difference between the coldest and warmest temperature we get seems to be increasing each year. Just two weeks ago, we had four straight days of -35 and below. Yesterday, I learned that tomorrow (saturday) we'll be getting a 6 degrees ABOVE zero. It's fucking insane. Fuck global warming.

I love the southern states. They close schools and roads for a simple amount of snow as an couple centimeters. As said before I also live in Canada but in Ontario and I wouldn't go as far to say winters are becoming warmer. I mean this winter has been pretty damn cold if you ask me but who knows maybe we'll get lucky next year and the southern states can get all the snow and we will barely get any. I mean it's not to lucky because I snowboard but it most definitely would be interesting.
