Parents Who Abuse Their Sons/Daughters Talents

I was cruising around GameSpot, and I found an interesting thread.

I remember that too. If it's true, his dad is a jerk, taking the fun outta Guitar Hero / Rock Band and making it a chore...

"You can tell from his attitude in his videos that he doesn't care anymore. Like back when he FC'ed SWTA and Soothsayer he would go nuts over FCs and do all sorts of random unfunny stuff, but he was happy. Now he'll FC stuff like that one "impossible" custom and just kinda shrug or even get frustrated."
"I think it's mostly just his dad and the sponsors pushing him too. It's nice that he makes money off of it but they don't need it, they're already millionaires. It's just his dad whoring out his son's talent to get his own shot at fame."
So it made me wonder, since there are obviously parents who are greedy enough to use their children to make money, what everyone else's thoughts on the matter is.
Using their kids to make money for them is okay in my opinion, as long as they enjoy what they do and don't mind, but once the kids themselves stop enjoying what it is that gives them the money, it becomes more of an abuse kind of thing. Agree/Disagre?

A selfish cunt of a parent who forces their kid to do something against their will just to make money. I'd go as far as to say that that's evil.

The parents know that they are getting money from using the child. Yet, they consider the 'milking' as a secondary bonus towards their main aim of 'developing my child'. So, parents actually convince themselves that they are doing good.
